There are several types of scams. They include:
Money swindling scams
These types of scams are written in an enticing manner such as the example above with a promise to a huge inheritance or a plan to get rich overnight. The senders try to play with a person’s mind because they know how greedy a person might become if he/she know of some good stakes promising huge amounts of money with minimal efforts. The person may then be tricked to send ‘legal fees’ and other monies to enable ‘processing’ of the cash.
Lottery and jackpot winning scams
These types of scam try to make an online user believe that they may have won a jackpot and to redeem it one has to part with some ‘processing fees’ which is just a small portion of the money but when a user does so that the end of any ‘jackpot won’.
This may take many forms but the most prevalent one may be winning of a green card or obtaining of travel documents such as visas without hassle. The person will then be swindled money as he/she tries to secure the said document. In other instances, a person may be charged hefty fees due to currency exchange rates without being aware.
Good health is every person dream and fraudsters know the extent that a person might go to ensure good body health. Therefore the fraudsters will sell health products such as ‘Miracle Weight Loss with no dieting or pills’ and a person with weight loss problems may be lured to purchase such a product only to realize that there is no miracle in them.
There are merchandise scams whereby you may be tricked to send money for goods ordered only to realize that they will never be shipped and you have to suffer the loss.
Make money scams
There are products and software that are sold online in what appears to be legit sales and they promise a person a guaranteed way to make money easily but most are just garbage products which play at people’s greed to alleviate poverty and lead a rich lifestyle.
